Dear Lord,

As we begin this new day,
Fill our hearts with joy,
Our minds with wisdom,
And our school with your peace.

Help us to learn well,
To care for one another,
And to be thankful for all our blessings.

For food we eat,
For friends beside us,
For those who prepared this meal,
We give you thanks, O God.

Bless this food to our use,
And us to your service,
And help us remember those in need.

Heavenly Father,

As we finish our day at school,
We thank you for all we have learned.

Keep us safe on our journey home,
Bless our families and friends,
And help us rest well tonight,
Ready for a new day tomorrow.

On this special occasion,
We come together as one school family.
